They have been hit with a litany of injuries to their core three players. Brown and Holliday missed majority of games so far with Brown just now returning, and Holliday is still working back from a sprained wrist. The Tatum MCL injury was just the death punch they didn’t need. Brown will need to step up while Tatum is on the shelf.

I increased a few of them about a week ago, I think it’s helping I just need more time to see it reflected in the averages

As far as box scores/mentions, I think both work. I know how much time those can take, so if you sacrificed the full box score to add other things, like scores from around the league as you mentioned, or just didn't want to take that much time, mentions work. Or even abbreviated box scores that shows the top five notable players or something also works well to tell the story. I don't know how much saying someone played 5 minutes or scored 3 points in 15 minutes does to progress much. Like what you're doing.
