Series #4

(5-5) @ (2-8)

Game 1: Jake Odorizzi was terrific, scattering seven hits over 7.2 innings. Chris Sale, on the other hand, was not himself. The lefty struck out just one Ray, and took the loss after allowing four runs. Steven Souza collected his first hit of the year in the form of a home run.

Game 2: Dioner Navarro's third inning grand slam was all the offense Chicago needed, as they coasted to a 6-1 win tonight. Matt Moore was removed in the fourth inning with an upper body injury, but should not miss any time going forward.

Game 3: The White Sox collected twenty hits after routing Drew Smyly and friends to end the series. Smyly falls to 0-3 on the year, and gave up fourteen hits in a start for the second time this season. The Rays hit for the cycle as a team, but sadly collected just one of each type of hit.

Series #5

(3-10) @ (7-6)

Game 1: Jarred Cosart was terrific in his debut, throwing seven scoreless innings. Steve Pearce broke the scoreless tie in the eighth with a pinch hit two run double off the top of the monster.

Game 2: Tampa won two in a row for the first time all season, thanks to a ninth inning single by Chris Johnson. Evan Longoria and Steven Souza launched home runs onto the green monster. Mookie Betts collected three hits, two of them doubles to lead Boston. Chris Archer pitched well, but received a no decision tonight. The righty surrendered two runs while striking out seven in six innings.

Game 3: David Price was shelled early, allowing the Rays to continue their winning ways and earn a sweep at Fenway. Evan Longoria homered and tripled, while Steven Souza crushed a ball out of the stadium. Jake Odorizzi was at his best today, giving up three hits in 7.2 innings. Boston's offense continues to struggle, with key players like Mookie Betts (.175), Hanley Ramirez (.122), David Ortiz (.228) and Dustin Pedroia (.222) all failing to contribute.

Series #6

(6-10) @ (8-7)

Game 1: Tim Beckham provided the only offense of the day, a two run home run in the top of the fifth. Tampa mustered just three hits, but managed to hold on for the victory. Matt Moore settled in nicely from his previous start, tossing seven shutout innings.

Game 2: The Yankees came back to take game two in the rainy Bronx tonight. It was a close fought game, with Brian Mccann's home run being the difference. For the second straight game, Tampa ended with three hits on the night.

Game 3: The bats woke up some here, and the Rays take the series with a 5-0 victory. Corey Dickerson went 3/3 with a home run, while Hank Conger cleared the wall for his first of the season.

Game 3: Kevin Gausman (4-0, 1.50) vs. Matt Moore (1-2, 4.67)

Love the last 10 feature. Do you just keep track of games on excel or other program??

Great job on the graphics dude! Actually really liked the deal you made with Miami. A fair price for a younger pitcher who's still a bit controllable in exchange for another, and the addition of Chris Johnson just to push it over the edge was solid.

Thanks. Everything I do is done in excel. I just look through the recent box scores for whoever I'm featuring.

Thanks. I like the deal so far. Cosart has been terrific, and the Rays don't have many pure contact hitters like Johnson. I also could not stand Cobb's slow windup. It felt like the games took an extra twenty minutes.
