Yeah, the Rangers are loading up on 2nd basemen. They have top 50 guy Maurice Carter and also grabbed Robert Black from the Angels so somebody is gonna be moved to the outfield this offseason.

Game 109: @ Chicago Cubs
Even while we prepared for the trade deadline, there was a game to play in the final day of July. This game was the first one in a weekend series v. the Chicago Cubs. Chicago started this game with their ace, Edwin Rodriguez, who was good enough but the stars in this game were the Cubs sluggers. Jack North smacked three home runs and Frankie Fernandez hit a huge three-run home run as the wind was definitely blowing out at Wrigley today. Cubs win, 10-5.

Game 110:
We participated in another classic pitcher's duel in Chicago. Tanner Wood and Shawn Malone matched each other through six innings before the bullpens took over. Troy Drennan returned from the IL and contributed with three hits while Michael McCoy also came through with four hits of his own. This late surge of offense gave us the lead and the win as we scored three runs in the last three innings to tally a 4-1 win in game two.

Game 111:
The finale was another masterclass pitching performance by Austin Wright, who has had a tremendous second half. Wright threw seven scoreless innings while allowing just one hit and five walks. On the offensive side, the big bats powered their way to another win. Veterans Oswaldo Segovia and Troy Drennan both hit multi-run home runs after we had already taken a 5-0 lead and then when trade-acquisition Mark Decker came into the game in the ninth, the Cubs scored their lone run. We take this game and the series, 10-1.
