The Journey | MLB The Show 23

Thank you everyone for coming out today! Gordo High School has taken the Varsity State Title from C-Town High in a final score of 5-3...

Coach Bard: Boys, you gave your heart and souls out there tonight. Some days you will not be the better man, and you will learn that over the course of your life. Today is a hard one to swallow, though. Be sad. Be mad. Get that drive to come out here next season, and to work your asses off to defeat Gordo, and every single other team! We can say we are hungry, but so are they! Work hard this summer, come back next spring, and for a majority of our student athletes, we will have a near complete senior team, in age. This is your gentlemen's final shot. Let's get to work.

Hello everyone! So, I am going to take this on a very different path than what I have seen, or have ever done. This probably seems like a big project, but it has intrigued me to really want to pursue it.

1. I have created full fictional rosters of 30 teams. I am covering one team for a "High School" season, everyone is 17-18 years old.

2. This is where it gets fun. The season will only be 22 games long, once the 22 games are finished those stats will be the "final" stats. Of course in the game, a season is 162. I will sim the rest of the season, and we will enter "Districts" which will be the playoffs. Districts will be played and the final two teams will meet in the "State Championship Round" or as we know it in MLB the Show, The World Series.

3. At the conclusion of the season, I will restart my franchise, and then do a 46 game season to showcase the Summer season. There will be no championship round, so at the conclusion of 46 games, the summer is over.

4. Our 26 student athletes then will enter college. I have a roster created by someone here on OS that has 30 college baseball teams fully created. I will advance the 26 players that we are following a year in age, and begin. However, I am saying 26 players... if someone does not produce their senior year and/or over the summer, their career will be cut short.

5. We are starting with 26, but by college baseball, we could have 17 players we are following.

6. Now, depending on how they do in their college seasons, they will be drafted. I will have another save for MLB to situate this. Ex. Player 1 gets drafted after their Freshman year, Player 2 gets drafted after Junior year. Player 1 has already been in MLB (minors) for 2 seasons before their ex-teammate.

7. This should be fun! Below, I will do a meet the players post of the 26 we will be following!
