Will We See a Lacrosse Game in the PS3/360 Generation?

I mean really, we now have a College Baseball game (although we only got that because EA lost their MLB license), we have Horse Racing, Soccer, and Rugby, why not a lacrosse game?

IIRC, Blast Lacrosse had good sales numbers and like your typical EA effort, it was a subpar game. I can't believe between engines for Soccer and Hockey that a lacrosse game would be too terribly taxing on the programmers.

So what is everyone's verdict? Yay or nay?

Please someone make a lacrosse game!

I would love one if it was an NCAA outdoor game. I'm not a big fan of indoor or box lacrosse -- it's an overcaffeinated version of the wonderful outdoor game.

You're right: If college baseball and rugby are produced and sell in the U.S., why not college lacrosse? I can lead the Syracuse Orange to yet another NCAA title, hopefully against those blue-blooded f*ckers from Hopkins!

I don't think I would buy a Major League Lacrosse game, but I would most definitely play an NCAA Lacrosse game, if only cuz UVA lacrosse is actually really good. I've watched a few lacrosse games of the Hoos, and they're very entertaining.

Perhaps Take 2 would be willing to take on this venture, it would fill a nice nitch that EA doesn't feel like catering to and if Blast Lacrosse did well, I am sure a NCAA game would as well.

However, I can probably already guess the problem, the lack of programs at major schools, like Florida State, Michigan, USC, etc. I know a lot of these schools have club teams, and I am sure most of us would take the willful suspension of disbelief to see them included in a NCAA game.

Hopkins are the national champs. Not were.

I would LOVE to see an NCAA lacrosse game. I played in college and i have always wanted to see this. Just because the big schools dont have teams doesnt matter. Just more detail with the teams available.

The national title weekend got rave reviews last year. It was the most watched final in lax history. The sport is growing, I think there will be a game made soon.

good point. if they made a lax game, who would i play with?
i wish they would make one, but the game is so regionalized, they might not think it will sell well nationwide.
