Titanfall Beta Thoughts

My thoughts on the Titanfall Beta:

Last night about 10:15pm I logged out of one of the most enjoyable gaming sessions I've had in as long as I can recall. The game? The Titanfall BETA on the Xbox One. I've played first person shooters (FPS) since Castle Wolfenstein, (the predecessor to Doom) which I recall purchasing at a local computer store for 25 cents on a 5 1/4" floppy. Wii U - I got the Wii U about a month or so after it came out along with my fiance Stefanie and we decided to give it as a Christmas present to ourselves. Connecting it up was very easy, it very nicely re-uses the bar that sits on top of your TV from your Wii so you don't even have to do anything but plug it in and not even use the Wii U one it comes with if you have a Wii still in place. NCAA 14 demo reactions

Here are my random thoughts:

- Game looks immediately much better due to looking less drab, washed out, more colorful, whatever you want to call it. It just looks a lot more like Madden now which is great!

- Glad they had names for the players in the demo instead of numbers. I'd much rather have fake names then #5 or #28 or whatever.

- Audio in regards to the crowd is much, much better and more dynamic in regards to when my Buckeyes made a big play ... Read More

NCAA 13 demo impresssions

Here are my thoughts on the NCAA 13 demo in a nice and easy pros and cons list with summary for each:

PROS:
Crowd noise on my 7.2 Surround Sound system is finally multi-layered, 1000x better reactive to what's happening on the field and much, much improved in just the overall depth of sound!!
I like the new camera angle ala Madden that turns left and right based on where you are at on the field
Game plays more smoothly overall, animations seemed smoother

*** PLAYING ON DEFAULT ALL-AMERICAN WITH NO SLIDER ADJUSTMENTS. *SPEED THRESHOLD OF 40 (DEFAULT IS 50)
Defense is back in a big way! I threw 7 ints in 2 games. And they were my fault, no BS! This game may be much harder to play now after a 6 pack of adult beverages, LOL. *After more games, about 12 to 14 games, I have only scored over 10 points I believe three times. *The biggest margin of win for me was I took USC into the Swamp vs. Florida and beat them 52-21. ...
