Raven Squad

Ok Raven Squad is a game that combines FPS with RTS. In theory you would think omg this game would be amazing. However it is far from it. Graphically this game could have been way better.

The most annoying feature of this game is the voice acting. Terrible voice acting, well I should just say the people they use have really annoying sounding voices. Which after a couple of hours will make you just want to turn the sound off.

Batman Arkham Asylum

So initially I wasn't planning on buying Batman. I seen the trailers for it and thought hmmm nice CG stuff. Seen it on Gametrailers for their review and thought hmmmm ok. Was in Walmart and seen people playing it and thought wow these graphics look good.

In a way I am looking forward to this fight, but in a way I'm not either. It is Memorial Day weekend, so many people will be out celebrating, BBQ'ng and stuff.

Matt Hughes the arrogant prick or UFC Legend ?

I know there are two types of Matt Hughes fans. The ones who love him to death and then those who hate him to death. Sure Matt Hughes has had around 50 MMA fights now, been in the UFC for 10 years now. Been dominant for about 9 of those 10 years.

Defended his title 9 times. So no doubt he is a Hall of Famer stats wise. But on the other hand, he does come off as arrogant. He seems to like to talk down to people. Act as though he is the best that ever was.

The new era in videogame commentary

It is my belief that UFC Undisputed 2009 has ushered in a new era of sports games commentary. The way they used old commentary audio from previous UFC fights and spliced it in to the game is an amazing feat.

Because it makes it sounds like they are actually watching your fight and getting all into it. So I won't be surprised come 2011 sports games you will see NBA Live, NBA 2K9. NCAA football & basketball, Madden, Fight Night and the baseball games doing it.

Ladies and gentlemen ! Start your engines ! The new champ in fighting games and the clear front runner for game of the year so far UFC Undisputed 2009 has arrived !

1st I would like to say, the full game is 10 times better then the actual demo of the game. The full game is also much harder then the demo. Best way to describe it is advanced mode on the full game = expert mode on the demo. Expert mode on the full game = you better kiss your a$$ good bye

Who will be the next MMA legend ?

You know in every sport, when a legend retires or his skill starts to decline, people always ask if there will ever be another person like him. They did the same thing with Ali, same thing with Jordan, etc.

So lets apply this to the world of MMA. Will there ever be another Fedor ? Another Crocop ? A person whose kicks were so deadly he use to end fights simply by kicking guys in the leg.

The Marketing Beauty of UFC Undisputed 2009

Even those who don't like MMA or know MMA or simply hate this game can all agree on one thing. UFC Undisputed 2009 was one of the most successful marketed games that came out in a while.

Most games always suffer from lack of marketing or no marketing in some cases, at all. But UFC Undisputed was heavily promoted. Not only was it promoted at every UFC pay per view for the past 6 months straight, but they released the demo of the game a full month before the game came out.

Wii Punch Out - Gold or Bust

Looks like Nintendo is at it again with their innovation is better then graphics business plan. One of their original hit series Punch Out is back for the Wii.

Using the Wii-mote you can punch your way against some of your old foes once again. I don't know.....I am all for innovation, but I don't think will save this game. Because it is literally the same game.

I seen Angels & Demons this weekend and I must say I was disappointed. The book was 100 times better. But then again yeah you could say that about many books that were turned into movies.

However I said it before when the movie was being created, that this book will be hard to translate into a movie. This movie suffers from Ron Howard trying to spoon feed knowledge to the masses. To this day it amazes me how there isn't one good Star Trek game for consoles. I have played them all and the best one I ever played was the one for the Sega Genesis.

Star Trek Encounters in theory sounded like it would be a good game. For it had every tv show in it. But the graphics were terrible and the controls were just annoying. Spent more time racing through space then anything else.

Rise & Fall of the Socom Series

Socom took the PS2 by storm. A console videogame that used a headset and allowed you to play 8 vs 8 was unheard of on a console gaming system. The ability to use stealth and tactis to defeat you enemy was a new thing.

For the longest games were pretty much just run and gun. Blast everything in sight, don't worry about tactics or strategy. Then they came out with Socom 2, was in my opinion was the best game of the series.

UFC Undisputed vs Fight Night

I know I know, why do people compare the two ? Honestly I don’t know why, other then the fact they are both sports fighting games. Fight Night been around for a decade now. They use to be called Knockout Kings and I been playing their games since the PS1 days.

Overall this is the 4th UFC game. They had one on the Dreamcast, one on the xbox and 2 on the PS2. They all were modest at best. None of the controls were complex. Didn’t have a ton of moves or anything.

Have you ever seen this show on Univision ? It is a Hispanic show, so therefore if you don’t speak Spanish you won’t understand a word they are saying. The premise of the show is half talk show half news shows. Because they took about current events along with what is going on with latin entertainment stars.
