People like to say in a capitalist society, anybody can be anything, if you put your mind to it, you can do it. However that is really not the case in the videogame industry. Well I should clarify and say it isn't the case in the CONSOLE videogame industry.

Medal of Honor Review

Ok I just beat the game. On default difficulty took me 7 1/2 hours to beat.

PROS

Atmosphere - The sounds of the guns and background noise on surround sound makes you feel like you right in the middle of the war. You hear bullets whizzing past your head, hear you teammates calling for you from a distance.

State of the Sim Nation

Ever since NBA 2K11 everybody has been up in arms with the word sim. Kind of an obsession for some people it seems. Being in that forum everyday since release, I have noticed a lot of people won't play on any level that doesn't say sim.

Touches Tendancy should be in EVERY sports game

I really think 2K is on to something here with the touches tendancy. Even though their ratings for players with it is out of whack, these but a programming is a Sim gamer god send. In essence it is a priority meter.

Just think if Madden and NCAA football had it with their WR's, TE's and HB's. No longer would you see the slot WR leading the team with catches and yards while the star WR of the team have low stats. For the teams with 2 HBs in the rotation, no longer would see the ... Read More

NBA 2K11 - Believe the Hype !

1st off let me say, the intro of this game is the best intro I have ever seen on a sports game. To see the man, the legend, Jordan himself walking out the locker room, looking back at you saying, " Are you ready ?" That sent chills down my spine.

Improvements for Madden and NCAA

Got some time on my hands so therefore I thought I would write about the improvements NCAA and Madden should make to their games. Well it is that time of year again. NCAA 11 is out and the itis of slider and roster editing is in full bloom. I told myself I wasn't going to get up in it. However I like perfection or damn near it when I play sports games.

And unfortunately sliders can only change so much of the cpu AI. Eventually you will be forced to edit the rosters too. WARNING WARNNG WARNING ! Editing rosters takes DAYSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS. Like a good 4 days or so for your average person with a wife ... Read More

Final Fantasy 13

Ok 1st off just let me say I am not a Final Fantasy player at all. Matter of fact I never owned any Final Fantasy games EVER. Sure I borrowed some games here and there over the years, just to play it.

Let me start off with saying this game is AWESOME ! Mass Effect 2 really blew me away. Kind of funny considering the 1st one annoyed me and I never got into it.

Let me start this off as saying I through out my gaming career, never really was a RPG type of guy. I was more into sports and war themed games. Hell the last RPG I really got into was Ultima Exodus many years ago.

NBA 2K10 Review

It is that time of year again. Basketball season woohoo !!! Now lets get down to this review. I am going to keep it short and to the point. NBA 2K10 in my eyes is an 8 out of 10. And this is just straight out of the box everything on default rating.

Madden 10, NCAA 10........why are they so different ?

Year after year it amazes me how 2 games made by the same company can be so different. You would think by now there would be so communication and information sharing between the two programming teams. I mean come on, they go hand in hand.

NCAA 10 out of the box was a let down to me. But then again most sports games are until you mess with the sliders. Once they came out with the patch and I created my own sliders, it was like a bought a brand new NCAA 10
