Great Month to be a Gamer!

Man I tell you what, this has to best THE best month to be a gamer in history. First off the release of Two great next generation consoles. I purchased two PS4's, one for myself and one for my son's birthday. My son had no clue that the PS4 was releasing on the day of his birthday, so after he went to bed I snuck out to Walmart to grab his preordered PS4 for his birthday. Needless to say when he woke up on the 15th he was extremely excited and pleased with his gift. After he went off to his Middle School, it was time for me to venture out and pick up my Target PS4 preorder which came with a $25 gift card.

Now as a frugal man I absolutely despise paying full price for video games, so when I learned of Target's excellent Buy 2 Get 1 Free deal I got even more excited for the Next Generation of gaming. Now that deal was excellent, but to top it off Target's front registers were printing out 30% off of two games coupons. So I picked up Assassins Creed Black Flag Target Edition, NBA 2K14, Need For Speed, Madden 25, FIFA 14, and Call of Duty Ghosts all for just under $150. Man was I freaking stoked about that!!

That's not even the kicker though. To top it all off, over the weekend of the PS4 launch I was talking to my wife about how I was going to go about selling off 4 of the 6 different 360's and PS3's that I own. I was thinking eBay but I've had too many bad experiences selling stuff on ebay, so that was scratched off of the list. Then I thought that I would go about putting them on Craigslist, but never did that because I'm lazy like that. So Tuesday comes along and I'm looking on the internet for some more deals on games and low and behold I come across the best buy deal where they give you a minimum of $100 gift card for your system. So I took 4 out of the 6 systems in to best buy and walked out with $400 in gift cards.

Now I have $400 in gift cards to spend on the XBoxOne that I have preordered from Best Buy, which I'll be picking up on Friday....

To make it an even better month, Black Friday is right around the corner and GameStop will have the PlayStation Plus Subscription cards available for $29 and target is supposed to be doing another Buy 2 Get 1 free deal then and I still have 2 30% off coupons that don't expire until December sometime.

Like I said, a great month for gamers...
