Superstar career predictions

I was thinking about it before, but even more so now after seeing some comments in raw section.

Which notable superstars in wwe history did you think(specifically at very early part of your time seeing them):
Was gonna be big/relevant, but they never were
Was gonna be big/relevant, and they lived up to it(again, this applies specifically if you thought this well in advance)
Was gonna be a flop, but they turned out to be big

For me, I thought guys like McIntyre,MVP,Benjamin,Barrett,Morrison had main event potential, but obviously none ever reached that height. Don't know if you'd call it a flop, but Kharmas career in WWE was another. Thought she was gonna be THE star of division and really lead a change, but that was short lived.

Ambrose,Rollins are the 2 biggest ones for me as to guys I thought would be stars, and they were. I followed them since fcw days, and I knew from then, those 2 guys would be something special in WWE. Both actually are bigger now than I thought despite that huge hype. Orton is one of the earliest ones I knew from start that he'd be big one day in WWE. Women wise, AJ is probably only one I had such high hype for early on.

Ones I thought would flop, but they became much bigger, Reigns is probably top of that list. Even when Shield debuted, I was like "Why'd they stick Leakee(aka leaky) with Rollins,Ambrose?". I didn't think flop so much, but very early days in nxt, Bayley and Sasha didn't stand out a lot to me as anything special. Now, they're 2 of my faves in WWE women's division ever.

Ahmed Johnson. Dude was gonna be the first AA WWF Champion, I was so sure of it. Dude can be argued for having the most menacing and intense look ever.

I pegged Jeff Hardy to do way more than he did. I figured he would have had an eerily similar career to Edge.

Also never thought Ambrose would hold a major title.

And on Benjamin, main event level talent **** on the mic. So that's why he had a major title. And I agree on Morrison, thought he would be better than the Miz.

Lol, I still remember during their break up, they had a storyline revolving over who'd be the hbk of the group and who'd be the janetty. I thought it was pointless since we all knew Morrison would be the hbk of the group. Worst case, he'd be the edge of the group(meaning miz would be Christian). Lol, how wrong was I.

Morrison had the look and in ring skills, better than most, but too bad his mic skills weren't that good.

I honestly thought Jericho would at least get a brief run with the strap in 2000. Guy was mega over.

I thought Kane with Paul Bearer in the attitude era (1998) was def missed out on a solid, long championship run.

Mr. Perfect

Rick Rude both should've had world title runs.

Re: Superstar career predictions

I saw him briefly on ESPN when they still aired World Class/USWA and then he showed up in WCW and I thought Stunning Steve Austin was going to be the top heel in wrestling, especially when he was in The Dangerous Alliance. I figured he was on the path to being the next Flair. Then he becomes The Ringmaster and then changed to Stone Cold and I thought, this guy isn't going anywhere, he'll be off tv in a few months. I was a little off on that one.
