If so, you're saying he talked about this segment as if it just took place as part of the WM40 hype? This segment where both guys (Triple H especially) look different than they do today? This segment with the big John Cena 2K15 and Dean Ambrose HIAC posters in the background?
Yes, that one.

He said it was a segment that didn't air on tv but made its rounds on social media with Rock challenging HHH to a match at WM.

I never get how people follow and believe everything he says so much. There's some stuff he says which is facts, more so with past eras, but anything in the modern era he's way out of touch and out of the loop on what's going on in these shows. Clearly he doesn't watch much of the product.

Don't get me started on the star ratings too and the fact that he said Kurt Angle never had the right opponent for a 5 star match (which is why Angle was never given one). If Kurt Angle never had a 5 star match in his eyes, you literally should never give anyone a 5 star match or have any right ranking anything. That would be like me saying Vince Carter never had the right formula for a 50 dunk in a dunk contest based on my personal rankings.

Re: WWE Off-Topic

Just cherry picking your guys' convo.

Kurt Angle, on my so important rankings, has had at least 5, 5* matches.

Re: WWE Off-Topic

The ratings are whatever. I don’t think (someone correct me if I’m wrong) he’s presenting them as more than his opinion and that’s how I’ve always taken them. How they came to be the gold standard for everyone, I have no idea. Some matches I’ll like more than him, some less. It’s all pretty subjective.

People believing him just comes with how long he’s been doing this, I think.

I have no idea how you’d see that segment and mistake it for being part of the current stuff though. That’s a pretty big miss.

And even cage match, I'm surprised people use that as legit rankings too. And by people I'm specifically talking Tony Khan who flat-out said he uses Cagematch ratings.

There's obvious heavy biases all around, especially for wrestling fans where people who love something will try to make it seem like the best thing ever and things they don't like they'll "downvote" it like crazy.

Two of the greatest athletes even to step into a WWE ring.

Re: WWE Off-Topic

Video going around online of Nia vs Maxxine.

Let's just say Master Gable needs to give Maxxine an entire course on how to sell moves because that was bad.

Why not just post the video?

She doesn't kick her legs to sell the impact of the banzai drop so that sucks, but everything else looks fine?
