So...... I love the the implementation of social media with wrestling. I would've loved to see AE Rock just randomly **** talking on Twitter. Or DX posting obnoxious **** on Instagram. I feel like, if done right, social media is one of the best things that could've happened to wrestling

Re: WWE Off-Topic

I don't like it. There's already hours upon hours of TV programming.

I don't want to have to follow everyone and watch everything online and be exposed to spoilers and dirt critics and staunch supporters and on top of it.

It's already too much.

You don’t have to. It’s more like bonus stuff. If it has any real bearing on TV storylines they’ll recap it on the show.

That's the keyword right there, "if it's done right" but lately it seems they want to bring the "kayfabe aspect" and make it seem like they are trying to blur the lines.

That would have made all those guys infinitely less cool. And I've zero interest in hearing those guys out of character interacting with people.

WWE has trademarked the name of two former ECW PPVs. First, being "Barely Legal" which was the first ever ECW PPV. Second, they have also trademarked "Cyberslam"

That's definitely the answer to getting those younger viewers.

Re: WWE Off-Topic

I just randomly clicked page 50 to see threads on this forum from back in the day and it took me to 2012. I'm seeing RAW threads with 400, 500, 600, even 700+ posts...for one RAW!

A. Was WWE good back then in 2012? I've still rarely seen anything from the 2004-2014 break I took.

B. Was that peak OS in terms of user activity? I know personally I took a break from forums from about 2008-2013ish.

That's just crazy to me seeing that many posts to where we are now in almost 2020. I know obviously with the rise of social media that has a lot to do with it. So I wonder if people don't even talk about RAW anymore or if they're doing it elsewhere, where?
