TopSpin 2K25 Impressions Thread

I bought this game and wondered how much I'd REALLY play it, but after reading reviews about it I got it for $51 on the PC and I will just say this: Now I remember why TopSpin was the king of Tennis!

After playing for 9 hours over the course of last night I think it's safe to say I'm addicted and simply delighted with the gameplay and immersion. This may give EA College Football a run for it's money for sports game of the year I think..

In career mode do you play full matches? (3 or 5 sets, 6 games to win a set). Or is it simply one set matches?

You can choose one of several match format options, based on how long you want matches in career mode to go.

The options are: Dynamic, Super Tie Break, Short Set, TopSpin, and Real Tennis.

What camera angle is that? I like that a lot. Feels as close to first person as possible. Would be neat to play tennis in 1st person to be honest. Idk if I'd like it, but trying it would be fun.

A variety of options. Tiebreak to 7 or 10. 3 sets of 3. One set 3 games. Real tennis scoring option as well. I could be missing one option.

Well, I’m trying to play the training thing with McEnroe but the game keeps crashing out of the game(PS5) after each lesson.

I haven’t watched the video but I really like ZOOM NORMAL and ZOOM CLOSE. Makes the game look better in my opinion.

That is ZOOM Camera Far, but as someone else said, you can go Zoom Camera Normal or even Zoom Camera Close.
