NBA 2K22 News and Notes for Official Roster

The purpose of me creating this thread is to help anyone who is currently trying to manually piece together current rosters in the interim as 2K is on holiday break. In the NBA there have been over 35+ player transactions over the past 3 days adding numerous players who are not currently available in NBA 2K22 without 2K adding them officially.

Here's a list of each team and their needed transactions to bring the roster currently. Obviously, without the ability to manually add the "Hardship" option to each player to increase the roster count, you would need to manually decide who you would want to add to your own personal roster.

Has anyone figured out a way to add all the hardship players to the team rosters? As far as I can tell, you can have 15 regular contracts, 2 two-way contracts, and 3 euro-stash contracts for a total of 20 players on the roster. Problem is teams like Detroit and Memphis have over 20 players on their rosters currently. The other day I accidentally set someones contract to hardship, which I previously didn't think we could do, but I've been unable to figure out how to make that happen and I was unable to set anyone else on that same team to a hardship contract. Any ideas?

I have no clue how I did it. I was setting someone's contract as a euro-stash to make room for one of the new players being signed and hardship was just on the list. I haven't been able to do it with any other players or teams on my roster. I'm guessing there has to be a certain number of players on the team with an injury? Or maybe it's related to the duration of the injury?

Strangely, the player the hardship option popped up for was Dario Saric, who is actually one of the injured guys on the roster. But like I said, I haven't been able to duplicate that with any other player healthy or injured.

Yea because I tried to do it with Denver and put guys out for the longest time possible an I couldn't get it to work I thought it was jus someone 2k does with their official roster but it sounds like it can be done manually just need to find out how.. thanks for the info
