After 12 years...my first perfect game!

So yeah I had to share this, after playing this game since MLB The Show 08 Brett Saberhagen threw a perfect game for me yesterday. In ranked season of all places haha!

The last batter hit a dribbler to my pitcher and he just missed it so I was like nooooo this is not happening and then my created player shortstop picked it up and threw a laser to 1st . My controller has never been that sweaty


Only sad note, no trophy whatsoever

That's amazing congrats. I've never gotten close to a perfect game although I've been close to a no-hitter twice. Once in MLB 16 and once last year. I believe the one last year came down to the final out and ended up allowing a double. I've never been so devastated haha.

after 20 years, my first perfect game. first no hitter for that matter. i have played the show since the 04 game. i played triple play in the 90s and all the rest, 2k, high heat, all star, mvp. several thousand baseball games.

franchise, using Angels at home.

opponent: Washington.

pitcher: Ohtani.

final score: 1-0. ohtani HR in 5th. he is a freak of nature in the video game world as well.

i was relaxed for the most part until the 8th. almost walked the 26th batter. the final out was on a drive to the gap but renfroe made the catch semi-easily.

no real scares other than a couple 3-2 counts when ohtani was getting tired.

i still cannot believe it. it was so exciting.
