NHL 16 Revamped - Community Input

If, and that's a big IF, edit player is back in NHL 16, I figured I'd start getting the ball rolling for the NHL 16 Revamped Rosters. This year I will do something a bit different - I want the community's input on overalls. Below is a preliminary list I put together of the top 50 forwards in my opinion.

Now for a few disclaimers. These overalls will only be targets for us. For the Revamped Rosters, we focus more on the individual attributes than the overall. Once we put in a player's attributes, if they are within a few overall points of their target number, we will leave it be. However, since BaGM AI logic is largely focused on overalls rather than individual attributes, we have to keep overalls in mind still.

Also, please try to keep your home team players realistic. I will tell everyone this right now - your team is not full of superstars. First liners for the Revamped Rosters range from 82-99 overall. So please, if your best/favorite player isn't rated as high as you want, try to honestly look at the players above him and look up some stats.

If you have any suggestions, please post them! I want to make this so the majority of the community is happy with them.

This is a pretty good list, nice job. In fact, it's funny because I also made a preliminary list in the last couple of days to be ready for NHL 16, if player edit is back of course. We have a different view on some players, but in general, it's pretty close.

As I wanted to have no more than 30 forwards at 87+ overall and no more than 60 at 84+, I made a list containing what should be the top 60 forwards IMO. So, I will post it here. I also made top 30 defensemen and top 20 goalies lists. When you will post yours, I will add them here also.

Remember that this is really only a preliminary list, so there are probably still changes to be made in my list...

Wow, our lists are extremely similar Al Tito. That's funny. I will definitely take yours into consideration and make some adjustments to mine. More lists like yours are definitely welcome and will help me out a lot! Keep them coming!

As for Nyquist and Tatar, I would like some additional opinions on them. In my opinion, based on stats and watching them play, I don't think they are quite on the level as the top 50 I listed. Not far behind at all though.

Just off the 2, Nyquist is definitely closer. But like you I agree close but no cigar.

Post them lists! Have you looked at individual attributes as well or is this just a preemptive compilation? (Boy, do I hope Edit Player is back in.)

I think I'll post more of my thoughts later, when my hockey-crazy brain gets some sleep after that Caps-Rangers game yesterday 2 AM my time.

I haven't gotten that deep into it yet. I'm waiting for confirmation that edit player is actually in the game before I do the attributes.
