OFFICIAL 'Association: Are these Good Trades?' Thread

I've seen a lot of threads talking about 1 or 2 specific user trades, and asking if they got a good deal with them , but I just wanted to start a thread where everyone can ask away at that question. Remember , User trades are the only ones asked here, and in my Wizards association , I am gonna start the thread off with my trade...

WASHINGTON WIZARDS
2013 1st Round pick
Kevin Seraphin , PF-55 Ovr
Mustafa Shakur , PG-55 Ovr
Jordan Crawford , SG-68 Ovr

For

DETROIT PISTONS
Will Bynum , PG-68 Ovr
Tracy McGrady , SG-68 Ovr
2013 2nd Rd Pick

Edit: Yeah turns out the initial trade details were wrong, so I updated them...

Potential is a factor to consider firstly so it would be nice to add the potential to your stats. It also depends on what season your at and how good Wizards are doing. If they're doing even remotely good then its a bad trade for Pistons. If they're bottom three of the conference then its partially good. It's a risk though for the pistons.

0-5. Bottom of Conference. Lost last 3 games by 15+ Lost to the pistons 88-102, after the trade.

Rashard Lewis is 0-18 on 3pt Field Goals this season...
JaVale McGee will be out 4-6 more weeks with a broken Ankle. My starting Center is Zydrunas Ilgauskas... (FA Pickup)

So in short. My season is going splendidly. Just fantastic.

I Needed a change, I wanted to revive the Orlando T-Mac, He was a scoring force. and I would rather have Bynum at backup PG than Shelvin Mack

I just started an association yesterday with the lakers.

Trade
Shannon Brown
Luke Walton

For

Trevor Ariza
2012 1st Round Pick (via Hornets)

as you can see the trade logic is still pretty stupid because i got a steal

In that case it's a good trade but one I wouldn't have done in your position. 1st Round Pick could possible mean an 70 to 80 overall player with the potential to be an all-star.

I like Shannon Brown as an energy player to come in for Kobe. I'd Say thats a very fair trade considering you got a serviceable player in Ariza and a 1st Rounder.

Yeah... Now that I think about it. But, I'm a 'In the Now' Kinda guy so I wanted players that could do that for me.

good thread, since it's USER trades nobody can complain about cpu logic

that being said.. I wouldn't have pulled the trade giving up your 1st round pick.. chances are that 1st rounder is still better than Bynum and specially not oldman Tmac..

imnho of course i'd have kept the 1st rounder
