What a cash grab. Just about the same as Top Spin 4 with a new coat of paint. You can’t even play with friends, just randoms.

It also seems the career mode is pretty barebones.

What a timeline we live in. I remember in the not too distant past when these things were considered "standard" and an online game NOT featuring a way to play with friends was considered a failure and a #1 reason not to buy it.

Crazy how we've now come to the point where developers are "hoping" they can implement a feature that has been in online gaming quite literally since the PS2 days. Boggles the mind, really.

And I'm sure 2K will point to the player base as the problem when this game inevitably sells terribly, as opposed to pointing it at themselves for thinking they can market an already niche sport like Tennis with the most bare-bones features and think they'll create a fanbase.

I mean, I can already imagine this scenario:

Friend 1: Hey, pick up Top Spin so we can play!

Friend 2: Okay!

And then, after spending 10 minutes and realizing they can't play together, the game enters their library, never to be touched again. I'm sure those people will be hoping on the twitter and checking for updates to see when they can play with their friends!

Give me a break.

I think I'll just keep emulating TS4 and maybe buy some day in the future when/if they decide to actually finish the product.



These companies should be ashamed of themselves. Releasing barely half baked products and trying to charge full blown AAA pricing.

Their content release schedule goes all the way out to Spring 2025... maybe by then it'll be worth checking out at a discounted price, idk.

The funny thing is...they have fine print out there that says the servers will only be up until the end of 2026. So you'll basically get to rent the game for a year and a half at that point.

I was highly anticipating this game...good thing I exercised patience..... im so disappointed that I will not buy this game. The only TS im not buying....why did you do this 2k?
