So they’ve now stopped us franchise players from being able to call time because of online players? Cool. I already can’t bunt when I need it because of the online crowd. Let’s just keep ruining franchise further for their sake.

Edit: Can still call time thankfully. Made this post before the patch actually dropped and the wording made it sound like it affected all modes. Yeah, it irritated me. Given how we’ve been shafted for years. Sorry for upsetting the almighty CountryBoy.

Because it’s most likely shared code that’s used across each mode. So to fix it for the time being, they remove it everywhere and they can test it and find out what’s causing the issue in the Co-Op mode, fix it, then implement it back. It just allows it to work across all modes while they fix it.

No they temporarily suspended being able to call timeout as a batter so they can investigate and fix a bug that was causing a freeze in online games.

They didn’t do it to appease the online community and to **** on franchise players.

Anything else you care to exaggerate and fabricate in order to cry woe is me?

And currently playing a franchise game post patch and you're able to call timeout still as a batter.

Fairly certain I now have the patch installed and I'm still able to call time with the batter (once per at-bat) in offline modes. That may only be a change they made with the online modes they're trying to prevent freezes in. Online isn't up yet - still in maintenance.

Edit: No - 100% sure now. The Philly City Connects are in.

Since I know people are going to be asking I’ll go ahead and just answer these two questions now.

NO, they still haven’t updated the “Roster with Injuries”. Super disappointed about that. I thought for sure that would be part of this patch.

YES, Bryan Bello’s eyes are fixed. I’m not sure what other players were affected. But I’m assuming if Bello is fixed, they’re all fixed.
