The Show 24 turning Xbox Series X off

As the title says, the game keeps turning my game off, usually it happens about every two or three games, sometimes right at the start and sometimes in the middle and once in the RttS menu. My Xbox doesn't feel hot and it's in a well ventilated area so it's not overheating. I've tried everything Microsoft suggest to do. This and Madden 24 are the only games that do this, every other game runs and plays fine without turning off my Xbox. I've also tried moving the game to an extended SSD but that didn't work either.

The reason I'm posting this is to see if others have the same issues and to see if anyone has found a fix that works.

I played a handful of RTTS games last night on my Series X with no issues with game downloaded to internal SSD.

Over on the EA forums, you are definitely not alone.

It's strange that it's sort of an isolated incident, and not completly widespread. I almost wonder if it's a geographical thing.

This might be a bit of a lark....but I remember hearing something a long time ago that the XBox consoles need to be plugged directly into the wall outlet (not via a power strip). If you're not plugged directly into the wall outlet, maybe give that a shot.

I've tried that too and it doesn't help.

F1 2022 used to do the same and it was an issue with the game overheating the system. Whenever it’s happened to other games, it could also mean the fan is clogged with some dust and you just need to blow it out.

I have an X and only played a handful of games on gamepass but haven't experienced this.Bought Madden digital and played a couple hundred games without issue.
