I have a habit of paying too much attention to overalls and potential and not actual ratings. For example Jan-Anders Mattila is a 20 year old who I believe is 2.5 overall and 4.0 potential. But if you actually look at his ratings in depth, he's actually pretty on par with Robin Rohrkemper who I believe is only a 2.0 overall with 2.5 potential. I think biggest issue is Mattila being only 20. So I plan to ride Rohrkemper most of the rest of the way. Thought about sending him to minors but my 3rd goaltender is only 0.5 overlal and the free agent market isn't any better.
One problem with the league overall is lack of depth. Most backup goalies are in the 1.5 overall range. And the depth of free agents is pretty much zero.May have to do some playing around as commissioner in the off season. Or add a junior league or something to add some depth.
