KNIGHTS WEATHER THE STORM TO DOWN THE LEAFS

The Golden Knights rode a three goal first period to down the Leafs 3-2. After controlling the pace of the game in the first period, the Knights let off the gas and Toronto dominated the play for large stretches of the second and third period, but would fall short much to the play of Starter Robin Lehner.

Lehner stopped 38 of 40 shots and was named the games First Star for his effort. The Vegas Penalty Killers also did an outstanding job, going 3/3 against the second best Powerplays in the league.
