Re: The Coaching Career of Michael Smith(a Bears Dynasty)

Week 10: Bears at Bengals

I was looking to see what my Bears could could do against a top quarterback like Palmer. The Bengals did keep the game close in the first half, and I only had a 16-14 lead at halftime. A kickoff return TD by Jones and a interception TD by Bird put the game away in the second half, however, and we won the game 40-14.

Chi-47 yd FG good-R. Gould, 00:52.

Team Notes: Fumbles are beginning to be a problem. Both my RBs have a tendency to fumble, especially on special teams. I bought Kick Power Training for my STC(now at 99), Speed Training for my QBC, Strength Training for my RBC, Strength training for my WRC. FS Thomas Opoe(not my starting FS) has a torn ACL and PCL, will be out 3 months, so I put him on IR. I signed FS Rondell Phillips to a 1 yr 290 K deal.

Notes from Coach Smith-"We are looking good at 10-0, but the Vikings are still in it. They have a record of 8-3, and are keeping this division competitive. We have a game coming next against the Packers, and I want a season sweep against them. One thing I want to focus on in the future is holding onto the ball. I've seen way too many fumbles lately, and I want my Rbs to work on that in the future."
