The Philadelphia Flyers have ushered in the return of Eric Lindros, signing him to a 2 year deal worth 5.3 million.

Evgeni Malkin was honored as an NHL Player of The Week tallying 2 goals and 3 assists in just 2 games. Also honored were Alexander Ovechkin and David Perron.
