If the rumors of budget cuts being used as the reason the individuals were let go, that's really weak considering WWE recorded record earnings in 2020 and just signed the massive deal with Peacock...

I'm sure the Peacock deal helped lighten the stance on keeping talent just for the sake of them not going to AEW.

That SummerSlam 89 crowd was off the charts. Remember that vividly as a kid watching on PPV. People bought into Zeus being a monster, that's for sure. I know 10-year-old me was scared of him.

Hard to blame Vega for choosing Twitch/OnlyFans, etc. over WWE. You go where the money is and she's making more there than with WWE. I'm sure AEW or TNA won't have an issue signing her to a contract...

Hate to see anyone lose their job, especially under these conditions. Hope they can either return to WWE or find another promotion once some level of normalcy returns.

Sounds like AEW has moved to another location already (based on Wrestling Observer Radio). Who knows what WWE has planned or how much post-WM content they were able to film.
