I've found that you get more XP from main quests. So if you're lagging pick up the story for a few levels then do all the side stuff you can.

For those that haven't played Gwent realize this is not a true statement. It does not appear on your options menu until AFTER you play your first game. No matter when that is.

I wish they would've done a better job of guiding you to the Gwent tutorial. I didn't realize there was a guy at the tavern in White Orchard you need to talk to. So once I did I left Velen to go...

You know that's not a bad idea. Especially if you don't use the lock on in combat. I'm not using it because I know it can backfire against multiple enemies.

How many console games do you get these days that even have that much stuff in the box? Manual, compendium, map, even the soundtrack? I was very impressed.

And they say that there will be free...
