It's unreal. The guy never dives, takes crazy punishment, and has finally put to bed the "lack of international success". Hell, he rarely shows emotion to the point where it's Tim Duncan'ish.

Yup. They'll reload though. A nation with soccer embedded into their culture plus a huge population won't be down for long. Germany did the same thing pre-Jurgen taking over. He helped them...

Pretty solid changes by Scolari IMO. Dante should be very familiar with a lot of the German players since they are Bayern teammates.

While I agree it's a technical game it never hurts having your best athletes playing. You can learn the technical side. You can teach natural raw athleticism.

Germany's lack of pace is very concerning. IMO they need to start Schurrle instead of Goetze. Goetze might be better player but Schurrle gives them a direct option that they are currently lacking....
