Ya, the Mets broadcast (best in the biz, IMO) was all over that. They highlighted that what the Cubs’ catcher did was brilliant and well within the rules.

I heard a lot of uproar about the end of Mets/Cubs, but I went and watched it and I think they actually got it right. Blocking the plate can’t be called…the plate was open, and I don’t think...

It's still early...but man, Acuna is not right. It seems all he can do is pound the ball into the ground...makes you wonder how much that knee is really bothering him.

That sucks; unreal that you can’t watch your favorite team in 2023. We are blacked out from Nats/Os where I am, but I have MASN as part of local cable if I wanted to watch. Makes no sense for you...

19.2…that’s Paul Skenes K/9 at AAA…he’s struck out 58% of the batters he’s faced (27 of 47). I know it’s only 12 innings, but I don’t know if I’ve seen such ridiculous numbers like that.
