Yes and no. Storylines can be meta, even if those aren't ones you don't want to care about. It's literally what wrestling magazines from the 80s and 90s were built on.

I'll posit that he wasn't as over as the Rock (not many were) but definitely as over as Cena. In fact I'd say the one of the reasons Cena was so over is because of Punk. Nothing in WWE in a 10-year...

It was good. Brody was mostly just a retelling of stuff we already know but it was well produced for sure.
