XBox Game Pass is what this thread is about, not the native PC version of the game that you can get via Steam and other platforms. A dude earlier in the thread asked if it (i.e., 2K24 via XBox Game...

Huh? It says MyNBA Eras on the main menu screen right at the 4-minute mark of the YouTube video I shared.

The Game Pass version is apparently new-gen even on PC, but no one really cares since it can't be modded (which means the regular PC versions of 2K23/24 still offer the best experience).
