While soccer has grown quite a bit in the last 40 years in the US it is still the #4 choice. The big money and therefore the best athletes will always choose football basketball and baseball to play....

Pay for play is a killer. It works to some extent with USA Hockey for a few reasons one being that there is a good college system in place and has been for many years. You don't need as many players...

I wasn't impressed with Guzan either but it seems like Howard has gone downhill fast after his self imposed sabbatical. Team is going nowhere anyway don't you think?

Not good at all. Should have been awarded a penalty but I just don't think this team is all that good especially in defense. Is there a decent goalie coming up through the system?

I don't think Dempsey has 2 games in 3 days in him anymore. I would be tickled to get a point but Mexico is the better side and they are playing at home. 2-0 Mexico.
