Well there are quite a few soccer leagues where they have a winter break. They could start a season in august, play until late November or sth like that and than start again in February, maybe later?...

Yeah, we are still a long long way before competing for a cup. But we should not finish last anymore, we have to make improvements. Slowly but steadily, we have to draft well also beyond 1st round...

Leafs sign Kadri and Rielly to 6 year contracts.
Kadri got 4,5M AAV, Rielly got 5M AAV. Kadri is signed for 4 UFA years, while Rielly for 2.

And Rielly deal will be a base for a lot of deals this...

I think if he contributes for all 5 years as he did in Toronto this season, they will be satisfied.

Babcock lowered quality of opponents and gave him better starts and he also played with the best...
