Never. I didn't have a stacked team or anything, but I put a lot of work into getting some of my favourite players. Plus the Will Clark in 18 is a hell of lot better than the one in 19.

What I find sad is how many of the legends and alumni have completely generic faces. Heck, even Ed Olcyzk - the guy doing the freaking colour commentary - has a face which looks absolutely nothing...

I've seen three so far. You have to remember the vast majority of people playing don't want to spend 5 minutes in the box, so 9 times out of 10 fights are going to be refused.

There are 4 teams, (I believe), of Legends and Alumni players available for a few modes. No franchise though. And you can't assign them to the team of your choice. You're stuck using these pre-made...

There's also a bunch of additional players hidden in the 3s mode. In total right now, there are 206 legends and alumni players in the game. So their claim of "over 200" is actually correct.

I don't remember 2005 all that well but to this day I can still recall how truly horrific NHL 2004 was to play. Possibly the worst game in the entire franchise for me personally.
