What was the situation (inning, score, runners on base)?

Could possibly be a no doubles situation where your outfielders are playing deep to be able to cut a ball off in the gap.

Nobody is asking for shorter games, they want an increased pace of play, there is a big difference. Also, having 7 inning games means less tv time, which means less money for the owners. No chance.

I'm a big fan, it adds much needed spice and it add an extra layer of strategy. There's a real fear in losing the momentum that can affect your play calling and I really like that.
