I would hope Lavonte David wins Defensive Player of the Year. He basically is responsible for Nebraska winning against Penn State and Ohio State.

The BCS is an illegal price fixing scheme, plain and simple. The poll system is just window dressing. It's completely about the TV rights to the bowls, and the money that comes along with them.

This loss was NOT on Martinez. His line doesn't block, his receivers don't catch, and the defense sucks.

I think for Nebraska this game is almost more important for the BCS implications. If Nebraska can win out, there is a pretty good shot they could grab an at-large spot. Okie Lite losing like that...

Goes with the decision making. Need to be able to keep yourself on the field.

Anyway, Nebraska plays at Michigan next Saturday, so it will provide as a good way to compare the two.
