I honestly don’t care that we finished below them. It’s not an achievement to finish above them, so they shouldn’t treat it as one to finish above Arsenal. Plus, we had a historically bad season and they finished a point ahead of us. Amazing.

I hope they get through qualifying. I’m going to love watching Arsenal on Saturdays and knowing we have full weeks to prepare for matches, can use a smaller squad, etc.

Spurs have had a miserable season too and finished above Arsenal still. I agree with you, I know we are in the minority for fans but I could care less about finishing above rivals if we are both out of the top four.

I did find it funny when Arsenal were winning and Spurs were losing, a lot of St Tottingham memes were retweeted and then after Spurs won it was all "Don't care about finishing above them anyways."

Gotta loves the mentality of a fan.

Please, for the love of GOD Newcastle, buy Willock

I don't care if you have to match our record transfer fee, just get him in. He fits in nicely with our system (or lack there of) and seems to really enjoy being here. He pairs up nicely going forward with Callum Wilson, Saint-Maximin, and Almiron. Changed the entirety of our season, we finished 12th almost completely because of Willock.

Since he's been punching bag since he wasn't given a fair shot at United, have to give a mention to David Moyes for finishing 6th.

He has to be in the running for Manager of the season if not the outright winner.

Last season 16th place, 39 points just 10 wins. This year most points in PL history for them with 65.

Nice for Mark Noble to end his career with European football next year.
