Nacho Monreal - Tight Hamstring, possible to return vs BHA
Shkodran Mustafi - Tight Hamstring, expected to return to training this year
Hector Bellerin - Left Calf, return to training in two weeks
Emile Smith-Rowe - Right hip, should return to training this month yet
Dinos Mavropanos - Groin injury, should return to training this month or early next month
Rob Holding - recovering from surgery, no current timetable
Danny Welbeck - recovering from surgery, no current timetable

Mustafi has already been in training, I believe—so that list isn't as awful as it seems...but yeah, we're surely signing a defender in January.

I like this lineup, I'd rather have Lichtsteiner on the bench and Bellerin starting, but we know why that's not happening.

too lazy to find it, but I'm sure at one point I criticised the possibility of a Laca/Auba partnership, I definitely decried one of them playing as a wing and the other playing as an out and out striker, anyway what I'm really here to say, one year past the signing of Auba....
