Well, the current report is that Arsenal have "tabled" a bid for Carvalho. But in the UK, that means presented, not withdrawn.

If he leaves I would like to see Arsenal go for Ron Vlaar, not sure if he would be up for being a back up though since he is getting regular games at Aston Villa....just a thought. Also heard they are looking at Arbeloa, that we be a nice versatile move he can play all across the back four.

Vermaelen to Barca is heating up, as apparently officials are in London to finish the deal. Also, Wenger has made another statement about him possibly leaving. If that happens, we'll surely be signing a CB.

I love that we have the fortitude now to say that we won't sell him to United and are holding out for Barcelona.


I also am starting to get the feeling Arsene has a big signing up his sleeve. Could it be Reus? If we added Reus and Carvalho, I might faint.

I just don't see Reus leaving this year, and I don't see Arsene buying a forward, either. But I could be wrong, and I hope I'm wrong.

Although I still really want a real DM.

Doubt it's true though.
