We've inquired about Yossi Benayoun. I think that would be a decent signing, as long as it's coupled with others.

Let's not forget that we played the game without Gervinho, Wilshere, Vermalaen, Sagna, and Song who would all regularly be in our lineup. We look worse than we actually are right now because we are missing those guys.

I would like to see this come about. Now that he is supposedly 100%, I think Yossi is ready for some serious tick on the pitch. I'm not sure if he'd get that for at least another year in Chelsea( if ever). He's one of those players for me (like Elia) that makes me a fan whatever team he plays for.

I'd rather get Santon than Santos. It's shocking that Newcastle can get Santon for 5M and we pay 7M for Santos. Just one up Newcastle and get Santon for 7M, 8 years younger and better quality (IMO).

I agree that Santon is probably better but I don't think Arsenal need two young left backs at the moment. I can understand the move for Santos he is a little more proven and has more experience than Santon.

Nobody is forgetting that. Guys get hurt all the time in soccer you have to have players ready to step up and fill those holes. Remember United was without 3 of their regulars on there back line but they had able replacements for those players and we didn't.
