Week 11: Indianapolis Colts (6-3) @ New England Patriots (6-3)

Indy and New England renew their rivalry this Sunday with a new face at quarterback for Indy. Jim Natz and Phil Simms will be on the call for their 5th Patriots game this season.

Aqib Talib is scheduled to make his Patriots debut on Sunday. Keeping my fingers crossed he won't shoot or assault anyone before then. Patriots are going to need him against Andrew Luck and the Colts offense.

I expect a whole lot of points in this one.

Prior to the season, had you told me the Colts and Pats would have the same record when they played, I would have figured that Brady got hurt and they sucked it up. Now, this could potentially be one of the best games of the year. However, I have to take the veteran in this.

31-21 New England

Agreed with CelticPride. Belichick will do his part in confusing Luck - whom we all forget is still a rookie. But I really don't expect to see a lot of defense in this one... more arcade football.

Hate to say it, but I see the Patriots winning this one easily. Hopefully I'm wrong though.

Our secondary has been so terrible this year that opposing QBs actually have a higher completion percentage, more total passing yards, and more passing TDs than Brady has which is scary when you look at the QBs we've played. Talib should help, but there is only so much one guy can do and I fully expect Andrew Luck to have a big game on Sunday.

The Colts defense hasn't been great either and the Pats should be able to put up some points. One big advantage for us is the turnover differential. Indy is -9 so far this year while the Patriots are +16. If we can force Luck into some early mistakes we'll be in great shape, but if the Colts play a clean game our D will have to make stops on third down which is something we've struggled with all year.

My prediction is the Patriots win a close, high scoring game.

I feel like this could be a rude awakening game for the Colts

I honestly don't think Pats will loose one till they play Houston/49ers or the Dolphins in Miami (all loosable games). In games Pats have lost they have lost by a total of 4 points making them a pretty damn good team if you ask me.

Colts will have success with Luck in the air. It's a given. For every touchdown Brady has the Defense has given up one. Our secondary essentially has made the other teams QB's look like Tom Brady. However Luck is still young his 10 TD's to 9 INT's stat really means he will turn the ball over. I think Patriots approach has been play conservative give up easy stuff and wait until the other team makes mistakes. It works, ask Ryan Fitzpatrick. I think this strategy will work against inexperienced Luck. (I hate this approach by all means it's just what you have to do with the secondary personnel) Patriots win 35-28.

P.S. Looking to see what Talib has to offer on secondary side.
