pobably should have been in the fantasy section as it has greater effect there, but any 9er fan definetly cant have gore go down with injury now.

Glen Coffee retiring belongs in here, it has more immediate impact on the team that it does anything else.

This is not something I saw coming though. Definitely a shock.

This is definitely surprising especially since he packed on 10 pounds of muscle in the off-season. Maybe the fact that SF drafted Anthony Dixon had something to do with this. I mean, there has to be something else. I refuse to believe that he's actually going to quit just because a coach gave him ****. It's dumbfounding to me.

I don't think a coach giving him **** is the case at all. The guy just probably thinks that the ministry is his calling. Can't blame him for that, although it's pretty short sighted to walk away from the financial security you get from playing football. I think he should have played out his contract and then entered the ministry, but it's a tough call. Should you really be playing if you're heart is not in it?
