Was so happy to see this, also glad to finally see Harvin gone, now add Peterson (too slow, can't tackle) and Wallace(can't cover or tackle) to this list and the Steelers MIGHT be on to something.

Eric Bienemy headed to the College game to take over OC Duties at UCLA per Schefter.

Re: 2024 Offseason Thread

Free Agency should start picking up soon with the Combine coming up and the start of FA not that far away.

Chip Kelly bouncing from a Big10 head coaching position to take a coordinator role in the same conference is one of the most batwacky stories I've ever seen. I thought it was crazy enough when guys were leaving blue bloods like Oklahoma and Notre Dame to take other college HC jobs but this is beyond.

Think he’s doing that to try and finesse his way back into the NFL.

Only reason why I can see him making that move because it’s not like he left the HC position at a small school like Middle Arizona State.

He is.

I know he interviewed for the Raiders, Commanders, Seahawks, and maybe the Chargers. The Seattle OC job was the last OC job open and it went down to Kelly and Ryan Grubb. Once it became clear that Grubb had the job, Kelly opted for Ohio State because he has a very long history with Ryan Day. He's one of those coaches who don't like the current landscape of College Football. He just wants to coach and call plays.

I see OSU has a year stop gap for Kelly and he'll try again next year for a NFL OC job

Notably in the first year of the rookie cap.

Not that what you said is invalid because you made good points, I was just saying until it happens more often than it currently does, it’ll be nothing more than just a threat, even with NIL.
