I know SDS said info on MLB 21 was coming in 2021, but does that mean we get news in January? Or will it be after the Super Bowl like it normally is?

PLEASE GIVE US NIKE CATCHERS EQUIPMENT IN 2021!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have no information on this, but I feel like the release date will be later than it has been the past few years. Not sure, but I feel like they will want to get the Next Gen release right. I would guess little bits of information in January, but the actual goods in February and March.

I still PS4 version releases in March then PS5 releases in May/June like with PS3 to PS4.

My thought has always been New Year’s Day where they’d post something like “Happy New Year from all of us at Sony San Diego Studios and our new cover boy Fernando Tatis Jr.!” but I’m a ‘glass half full’ kind of guy so I don’t think this is what we’ll get.

Boy do I love the optimism.
Now that I have a PS5 on hand, I'm so giddy at what TS21 could be. I know that expectations shouldn't be too high for the first year on a new generation (plus potentially other platforms), but just thinking about all the potential of the new hardware gets me all giddy.

Usually after the super bowl. I don't think their will be streaming this year unless it's under some zoom like thing who knows.

I wouldn't be surprised if they stick to the usual "week after the Super Bowl" reveal schedule. But, with a new generation (and a possible Xbox release) on the horizon, I hope they reveal some stuff in January, even if it is just the cover athlete.

I saw on Twitter that Fox Sports tweeted about The Show 21 cover, thought that was interesting... Probably nothing tho.
