Stealyerface’s True Sim Sliders

Uploaded this morning to the vault, are my 2024 take on Simulation Baseball.
For many years, I have attempted to recreate the game you watch on TV, or see in real-life, with accurate speeds of runners and fielders, accurate speeds of thrown balls, as well as the timing between fielders and runners with routine plays.
Grounder to short with a mid-speed runner? Crow hop and a throw and the ball beats the runner by a step and a half. Same scenario, faster runner, shortstop with urgency, and the runners is out by a half a step.
For the past ten years I have dug deeply into this interplay between defense and offense, and these sliders should offer some really great results.
I play clean screen, Legend pitching with Pinpoint and Hall of Fame batting, and in my 10 game test set with 24’, I have seen 8-2 blowouts and 1-0 pitching showcases.
I hope you guys enjoy these sliders, and please, as always, give these sliders a multi-game test drive, as you’ll see some pretty varied results, but above all else, you’ll really enjoy the speed, flow, and timing of the whole package.
Enjoy!!

Okay, for those without access to the vault, here are Stealyerface’s TrueSim Slider for 2024.
I am really happy with these so far. Getting great results and above all, really interesting and varied games. Please make sure to play 3 or 5 games to see what I mean about games being totally different.
I hope these help to really see what a great game they gave us this year!

I do not know the answer to this. I have never played CPU v CPU.

These sliders are based on multiple years of playing against the CPU with an emphasis on realistic gameplay…. Give em a shot I’d say!

I used these last year for the most part, I use Pinpoint and the seem to match up well. Are you making adjustments for simulated games with SP/RP stamina and CPU Manager Hook?

I have never tinkered with the simming side of the adjustments for stamina and cpu manager hook etc…. Let me know if they work as-is or if they need to be tweaked.

Re: Stealyerface’s True Sim Sliders

I had a great game yesterday with Whitlock going 7.2 innings with a walk and 8 K’s in a 4-0 win against Texas.

Loving the presentation and realistic numbers this year…. Button accuracy fielding is just so good with ratings dictating how large the accuracy zone is, combined with the degree of difficulty for the throws being made.
