I could maybe see 2K releasing an NFL-themed game around the time of the NFL Draft if said game leaned into the "lifestyle" part of the NFL experience (I put lifestyle in quotes because that's a word Take 2 themselves have used in the past).

For example, maybe they build a game centered more around the path to the draft, the NFL Combine, Pro Days, the draft night red carpet, having your name called by Roger Goodell, etc. as opposed to the grind of the regular season and pursuit of a Super Bowl, both of which might be more "sim" elements.

That game could be fun? Maybe? If it were a mobile game the monetization opportunities are obvious, at least. It certainly would not be the game those who have been holding out slim hope for an NFL 2K revival have been pining for.

2k said they releasing 16 games this year and next
They just released the teaser trailer for Top Spin
I wonder if that was the third midcore title for March🤔 unless they push back wwe 25 and release 2k new football game in July 👀
