Players get way too comfortable with those backpasses. Just painfully idiotic.

Until the winner, was the narrative going to be how it was a good group stage away point against Young Boys for the wage bill kings?

I only saw the hilarious winner, so I genuinely don’t know. After reading a match report it seems that Ole, unsurprisingly, mismanaged the game.

First half United were in control but the second half they got dominated, both goals were well-deserved even if the second was hilarious.

I’m not sure Ole really could have done too much different outside of not bringing on Lindgard. I get why though. He was the only real option with pace. Ronaldo really needed to finish his breakaway rather than look for a penalty. That was the real turning point.

I’d have brought in Greenwood honestly but whatever. I “guess” Jesse’s finish against Newcastle deserved a second chance. I will say this. I’m living but happy that this happened so early. If we are going anywhere you hope this is a wake up to the guys on the pitch. Ole isn’t the one that didn’t perform out there. The guys with the kits on were.

I think Sheriff wins for oddest yet coolest name for a football team from Moldova.

Are these new kits for City?

Not really feeling them like that.

They’re supposed to be reminiscent of the 2011/12 uniforms with the added 93:20 clock number motif. Love the white lettering/numbers but they gotta go back to white shorts ASAP.
