I actually come out of this game encouraged by Boston. Missed 9FTs, Bad 3 Point game, and brutal tatum game. His passing was not there in this one and they still had a chance. Also this is one of the few games where the Denver bench played well. They have zero people to guard Jokic though. This would be a heck of a series or i hope denver doesn't make it out of the west lol.

The weird part, his shooting has gone down. His 3pt % has jumped from 39% to 42%, but his 2pt% has dropped from 51% to 41%. RJ has improved a lot too. 56% from the field vs 42% with the Knicks. Averaging career numbers with Raptors in points, rebounds, assists, shooting percentage. Can't wait to see what a fully developed Raptors team looks like. Poeltl, Barnes, RJ, Quickley and 1 more good starter could be a real good lineup next year. Other issue for Raptors is their depth. Part of it was trades, but they've used 28 players so far this year! |

We all knew IQ could ball but I don't think they were going to be close on contract talks. It made sense to make that move. As a Knicks fan, I was done with RJ.
As I lock in to rest of the league around this time, Denver is so damn solid. Murray tried selling last night but Jokic is damn near unstoppable against Boston. Nurk did a pretty good job on him a few days ago which leads me to believe Phoenix would definitely give them a run in playoffs but not sure about anyone else. |
