Yes, they can be used in MyEras or MyNBA (aka modern franchise). They cannot be used for Play Now. As Jay said, you’ll need to be in control of the team you want to update. I’m controlling all teams so when a re-brand isn’t accounted for in the game, I can just go on update it or download it myself.
