2K Announces Premium Season Pass Options For NBA 2K24

The Mycareer starting salary already sucks I’m already imagining how low it’ll be in 2K24. They took out the free agency negotiation so that’ll be low too. I’ll just make a big man build that doesn’t really require much VC to be dominant.

I exclusively only played MyTEAM and MyCAREER for the first time with 23, and I don't see that changing, so I'll probably end up buying a few of these.

But whining about a “not fair advantage” gets a lol out of me

If u don’t like it don’t buy it. It’s tons of stuff in the game find something u like and stick with that

how could we not see this coming from a mile away?
every time you load up the game the first thing is a pop up ad to purchase or market the paid modes of this game...

a PAID sports game doing this level of in game transaction is very distasteful...

one of these two things should happen:

1. Separate My park as a stand alone Free to Play game

2. Release a new IP every 2 years with the off year being mainly roster
updates bug fixes visual improvements and some gameplay changes at
around $40. giving more development times to fully fleshed out
features....tired getting BETA versions of some implemented features
that gets patched to oblivion, making the game feel drastically different
from 2k day to march, and not always in a good way!

2K showing how much more money they want to drain from all of us. I'm glad i just stick with MyNBA. I did play MYCareer last year but its just a way to get players to buy VC. I'm sure 2k will find more ways to put more stuff behind a paywall in the upcoming versions of 2K.

Even if I could get a career mode without all this microtransaction business. I really don't get time to dive into a career mode because I'm always playing around with MyNBA. I'd just rather play with real teams and real players (current and/or historic) rather than creating my own.

2K has to be making a killing from doing this or they wouldn't keep doing it. To that end, I can't really blame them. I'm not going to straight up boycott 2k24 because of features of modes I'm not even going to touch in the first place.

I will say, a lot of the YouTubers that play off this stuff are so cringy I don't even know how they have a following.

I don't like what it has become but I loved 2k23 and am looking forward to 2k24.

It is pretty insane that two people can buy the same game and have such a different experience
