Franchise fielding stats

Every year... every version of the game... when I finish playing a whole season, the fielding stats are pretty unrealistic. Have somebody ever noticed it? Am I the only one who experience this? How can I "fix" it?

Some Gold Gloves award are realistically expected, but the stats are not.

Do everybody know something I don't about it? No replies to a simple question keeps me wondering that.

I agree. I can’t remember a game where I had more than two errors. Regardless of the fielding sliders I’m always at the top of fielding percentage.

I have noticed this as well. I believe the issue is the sim engine does not accurately take into account fielding ability as a whole. It seems to only take into account fielding %.

I have also noticed when playing I commit many more errors when using manual fielding. When it is on auto I rarely commit an error.

This right here. I play on manual fielding and I get quite a few errors even by diamond defenders. Unfortunately, the errors that do happen aren't very realistic. Arenado isn't going to throw a routine grounder into the dirt or pull Goldy off the bag hardly ever if at all, and this is the most common error I have happen. (franchise mode)

Everytime I play OR SIM a whole season, the stats for ALL the players in the league are unrealistic. It's common to have a SS or a 3B with 99% for fielding average.

It's because the game does not score errors properly. An obvious error in game will count as a regular hit often. Usually it's the OF bobbling a single or double that allows the runner to reach and extra base. Instead of single, E8 for example it's scored as a double.
